Make sure fresh, pure, filtered water is available all day long. Limit milk and juice to no more than two meals each day. The likelihood of them not being hungry when they are offered the meals is higher if they constantly drink juice or milk during the day.
When you are attempting to improve your diet, take it slowly. You won’t change overnight. You also want to spare yourself the pain of consuming meals that you actually don’t enjoy. Gradually adding in healthy foods over the course of a few weeks will work just as well in the end.
Eat a small meal prior to going to your relatives for Thanksgiving dinner. Walking into a Thanksgiving gathering starving is a recipe for disaster–at least where nutrition and moderation are concerned. If you eat a little bit before you go, you will not eat as much and you will feel full more quickly.
